Happy Happy New Years

I not only did not go out to any adult focused NYE's events, essentially for about the 8 or 9th year in a row-maybe more...after years of meaning to get to the Toronto Zoo's Kids' Countdown, we failed to make it, again. It was raining and it just didn't seem like fun, despite the relative hovering around freezing warmth. (also dreaded a potentially slippery, black ice ridden ride home on the 401 and DVP)

But even more typical of my "NYE is so overrated" attitude, I once again missed even the TV countdowns, because I was busy crafting an eMail full of pics of the kids to send out. I turned the tv on after midnight and had my first Justin Bieber moment! I know, I am a little bit 'delayed' on that front. But he just sang to Selena Gomez on the Ryan Seacrest Hosted Rocking Even'10 special. How cute is that boy?

I knew the name. I knew he was Canadian. I had no idea the kid can actually sing. He's SO very cute. If I was young, I would SO be in love with him. He's definitely cut from the Sean Cassidy, David Cassidy, Leif Garret mold.. if you grew up in the 1970's moms know what I mean? I am SO going to be pulling him up on YouTube for the kids tomorrow.

On a different note, every female performer I have seen on the show has the MOST amazing legs. Selena, Fergie etc. Talk about incentive for New Year's resolution. I used to have pretty good amazing legs... P.B.P.P. - PrePreggersPreBabies

OK, in all seriousness. I am so thankful for my early varicose veins & definite 'traces' ;-) of cellulite, really! :-{

I have two gorgeous, SUPER intelligent, witty, funny and when they want to be, thoughtful, warm, cuddly and loving children, fast asleep in their beds. Mind you, it took 2 HOURS for the Dufflet Double chocolate cake to wear off! But they did eventually pass out cold. They did a ring match brawl on the big bed first, that I had to MC, then after the first big injury, it became yet another MJ Showdown, Billie Jean, with EI taking the lead. EI can now do some pretty serious isolations and pelvic tilts. MA created the coolest Camera Clickin' Photographer on the prowl type move - loved it.

OK, must mention that the Black Eyed Peas are looking a tad 'aged' in my humble 40 something opinion.

Signing off, hoping to take the munchkins to breakfast tomorrow. Thinking maybe Boom on College for old times sake or Lakeview, which is more Organic!
